Scope and what counts as a conversation
FunnelReply is built for small business teams, freelancers, and support staff who handle customer messages across email, social channels, and contact forms. This section clarifies what the tool covers and how we define key terms, so there are no surprises later.
A “conversation” means a thread of related messages from the same customer or project, grouped automatically by sender, subject, or channel. We do not include internal notes or draft replies in that count. “Unanswered” means a thread where the last message is from the customer and no team reply has been sent yet.
The daily queue shows only threads that need action. Already-resolved or archived items stay out of the way. This keeps the workspace calm and focused on what actually requires a response.
Message grouping rules
Related messages are grouped when they share the same customer email, social handle, or a unique contact form ID. Replies sent from FunnelReply stay in the same thread. If a customer starts a new topic, the system creates a separate conversation.
Follow-up flags and ownership
A thread is flagged for follow-up when it remains unanswered for more than 24 hours or when a team member assigns it to themselves. Only one person owns a thread at a time. Reassigning is available, but the previous owner is removed from the active queue.
Channel coverage and limits
The starter plan covers email, two social channels, and one contact form. Additional channels require a paid plan. We do not monitor SMS or voice messages. All connected channels must be owned by the account holder.
